Every Gift Counts

While a University-wide campaign inspires large gifts, it also serves to galvanize annual giving. Annual gifts from undergraduate alumni have grown significantly in recent years (in the case of the College Fund, by 38 percent between 2002 and 2006) and represent a vital source of immediately available year-to-year support as well as a critical gauge of alumni engagement. In our ambitious campaign to fund undergraduate priorities, every gift counts.

In The Columbia Campaign, increased alumni engagement across the University is a vital institutional goal in itself, to be gauged by participation both in alumni events and in annual giving programs. Increased events and programs run by the Columbia College Alumni Association and the University-wide Columbia Alumni Association will keep alumni connected more closely than ever with one another, current students, and the University.
