Fundraising Volunteers

Alumni and The Columbia Campaign

The Columbia Campaign engages the extraordinary talents of our more than 260,000 alumni by involving them in many ways—as Campaign volunteers, donors, leaders in alumni associations, or advisors to the University and its programs.

When the Campaign ends in 2011, success will be measured not only in dollars raised, but also in alumni participation in a range of activities and initiatives.

Gift Volunteers

Many alumni share their time, connections, and talents to function as spokespeople for giving to Columbia. They draw on their personal and professional associations with alumni friends and colleagues in service of the University.

By networking at reunions and alumni activities, sending letters, or making phone calls to target peer groups (e.g., friends of the baseball team), these alumni champion worthy programs and give invaluable support to the University.
