Columbia Business School launched an MBA course, “Effective Philanthropy in Urban Communities,” for students to research small to mid-size charities in New York City in need of funding. With support from Andrew Gundlach ’01BUS and the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation, students in the class award $25,000 to a charity of their choice, turning a learning experience into a community impact.
